REHABILITATION OF WILD BIRDS- MEDICAL EQUIPMENT'S FOR BIRD HOSPITAL.

Coimbatore lies in the foot hills of Nilgiri bio-sphere reserve of western Ghats (a world bio diversity heritage site). More than 400 species of birds are documented from this region. Due to rapid urbanization and human interference many birds are getting affected. Birds hits by vehicles habitat of a large number of species of Birds, such as Peafowl, parakeets. Some of these birds get injured and require treatment. To treat and rehabilitate these birds, our club is proposing to set up a fully equipped bird hospital in Coimbatore, which will be one of its kind in the whole of South India.
