Project Description Country: Ethiopia Location: Adi-Gulti west of Zufan Total Budget: $25,388 Area of Focus: Water, sanitation and hygiene Activity Type: Water: Supply/Access Summary: Water well benefitting the community and school of Adi-Gulti, Ethiopia. The community of Adi-Gulti and the school lack consistent and reliable access to potable water. The current wells are shallow, open to pollution, and provide insufficient water. The well we propose will provide sufficient potable water for the community and school. A storage tank will ensure sufficient potable water is consistently available. The water system should be functional two-to-three months after the beginning of the dry season in 2025-2026. Funds will be used for drilling the well, an electric pump, storage tank, tank stand, distribution system, and water collection points. Club members are involved raising funds, writing the proposal, and publishing the successful completion of the project.
