Project Description Country: USA Location: San Clemente, CA Total Budget: $2,000 Area of Focus: The environment Activity Type: Community Development: Volunteer Services Summary: Building up the Urban Forest in the City of San Clemente to continue with the designation of Tree City USA and to enhance the environment with sustainable trees. This grant will support the on-going effort for a better Urban Forest in the City of San Clemente by buying trees for public areas. In the past three years, San Clemente Rotary has supported the Arbor Day efforts to build the Urban Forest with 22 trees in 2023 and 30 trees in 2024, and 50 trees in 2025. Two other non-profits also support this project every year. The trees are 24" boxed trees - typically California Live Oak or Campor trees - native to the area.
