Project Description Country: USA Location: Fort Collins, CO Total Budget: $1,500 Area of Focus: Maternal and child health Activity Type: Health: General Summary: Twenty five 25 students w/ need in the Northern CO District will be provided w/ high quality Coats, Boots, Gloves & Hats. loves & Hats. The $1500 grant will provide winter gear through a local nonprofit w/ Rotarian support.. Need for NO Colo students cold weather gear will be identified by their teachers & a list will be provided to the coordinating nonprofit. The $1500 grant will provide new deeply discounted Coats, Boots, Hats & Gloves for 25 students. Sorting of cold weather gear, based on specific requests for each child will begin in October and distribution will begin in November. Volunteer Rotarians will assist with matching requests with appropriate items. This project benefits the health and education of students. It allows them to participate in winter outdoor activities and enjoy a sense of pride for their outer wear on the playground and while waiting for their bus.
