The Rotary Club of Barranquilla will carry out a triple Biosand Filters project:

- Education in Hygiene and Sanitation to select groups of schools and groups of adults

- Delivery and installation of 600 Biosand filters for homes

-Regular monitoring and reinforcement of hygiene and sanitation practices a few months after the installation of filters in the houses. With a typical family size of 8, this project will supply 4,800 people with safe water. The target area is the Department of Atlántico in northern Colombia
