As earlier as April 2017 a special 15 member committee was formed by the President RC Ottapalam (Group Administrator as the Host Country Project Contact for Whats app communications) to do the overall monitoring for its correct execution. It includes Rotarians,Palliative Clinic Volunteers,OWT Trustee,Handicrops official and from Local Govt department ward member .They will also ensure that this project will not lack in to any sustainability and never run in to any stewardship. This were all done as per the advise from the TRF Project coordinator MS Jennifer . Few well wishers of RCO came forward to help and improve the Training School to make it to a wheel Chair friendly building and compound and to use it as a Day Care Center for the Differently abled beneficiaries of this project.

Per description of the project, it is a 2 year project and is now carried over to 2018-19. Current status is TRF funds received and Host Rotary busy organizing for training and discussing with vendors to make purchases of the Handicap supplies. It is not clear why the district website is sending notice about dropping by 9/1/18 even though two prior History Logs has provided the needed status.

The final batch of beneficiaries finished their training in their desired trades on 15th April 2019 successfully.A family get together of all the beneficiaries named as Team GG on the day of our Clubs GOV ie 16/4 .As per the social committee suggestion a training center was started in the CRR Trust property freely given to use as a place for all training .Few improvements to make it user friendly for the disabled made from the existing fund allotted and also given the funds kept for Training purposes. This place will be used as the permanent Vocational training center by the Rotary which is kindly consented by the Trust. This gives an image building to Rotary as many economically backward section of the community living nearby. Project completed. Beneficiaries have started their own selling out lets and also with the help of RC and Handicrops in reputed Hyper Markets.Few of them are doing very well and started giving a share to Rotary Clubs towards Rotary Foundation.A sum of Rs 10000/-was paid to DG towards Polio fund by the Team GG.The sustainability of this project is going beyond our expectations as the products made theses less fortunate are in great demand .Many companies have started advertising their coy name on the products in order to help them.A good number their products exported to countries like UK,USA,UAE,Germany,Switzerland,Ireland and Japan .All through our well wishers. It is a pleasure to watch these people move around in the vehicle with Rotary emblem on it .Quadraplegic Ajay too.

Mission and Objectives of this Project is fully attained as the Beneficiaries reduced their dependency on others and started leading a normal life by getting the training in their chosen field of work and thereby enabling them to be occupied with gainful self employment which helped them to reduce dependence on their family members besides managing time productively instead of idling away as they cannot move around with out external help. This projects eligibility was at stake and MS Jennifer Bergs 13 questions really gave us an idea and taught us to carefully project the case and her help in this project was a turning point.Forming a stewardship and a social audit committee gave us lot of confidence on its sustainability and here we are with a completed Project.ThankstoJennifer

We were under budgeted in making the training center wheel chair friendly but we managed the excess funds required by receiving donations from well wishers .The total amount of well wishers contribution was INR 255,660/-
Our project had an unexpected variance in the allotted budget for making the training center wheel chair friendly which we managed.
