Project Description Country: USA Location: La Habra Total Budget: $5,340 Area of Focus: Maternal and child health Activity Type: Community Development: General Summary: 100 Sweet Cases purchased, decorated and filled then distributed to Foster Children with the help of Together We Rise, an OC non-profit LH Rotary club will purchase 100 duffel bags from Together We Rise along with decorating kits and items to fill these "Sweet Cases." Once decorated/personalized and filled, Together We Rise picks them back up and delivers them to foster children throughout the county. Foster children are given black, plastic trash bags in which to carry their personal items when they are moved from home to home. These Sweet Cases replace those plastic bags with something dignified that the foster children can call their own, regardless of how many times they're moved. It remain THEIR sweet case.
