What are the main objectives of the project, and who will benefit from it? Bethany 'Thany' Dykson will pursue an MSc in Oceanography from the University of Southampton in preparation for a career focused on heat-tolerant adaptations in corals. By engaging with the Coral Reef lab in the National Oceanography Centre (NOC) at Southampton, she will be collaborating with top researchers on coral reef resilience in the face of climate change. Thany will expand her expertise of marine ecosystems and specifically coral reefs and their response to climate change through completion of this degree and thesis project research.
