Project Description Region: North America Country: Mexico Location: Tijuana Total Budget: $200,000 Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment View Online Proposal Form Between 400-600 kids in the Tijuana area are born each year with heart defects. New City Hospital in Tijuana is limited in the type of surgeries they are able to perform. The Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery Department is limited in the type of surgeries they are able to perform. In order to establish a fully sustainable program , more equipment will be needed to be purchased. For this reason our initial Grant proposal will concentrate on purchasing equipment the sophisticated equipment needed. hospital. Our host club in Tijuana will make sure the equipment is delivered in a timely fashion and properly installed. . The International Club will be responsible for raising and administering the funding as they have done in the past . This project will most probably take 2 years to be fully operational.
