Project Description Region: Asia Country: India Location: Ottappalam Total Budget: $63,000 Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment RC Ottapalam is a 36 year old club having done many matching grant and global grant projects we are planning to expand our Rotary Dialysis centre with additional 6 dialysis machines at P K das Medical college due to more demand from the public and waiting period for a patient is more than 6 months and we are doing this dialysis as free of cost We started the dialysis centre with 4 machines and it is going in full capacity and the new applications are piling up many a times we have to refuse or reject the application of the poor patients with the non availablity of slots Hence we decided to increase the capacity by adding 6 more machines this year.
