Project Description Region: South America Country: Brazil Location: Blumenau Total Budget: $30,000 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy This project aims to strengthen and enrich the bilingual (Portuguese-German) teaching and learning process in literacy for the early grades (1st to 5th grade, 6 to 10 years old) of the municipal public school system in Blumenau, a city with a strong Germanic tradition. The main focus is the acquisition of high-quality pedagogical, literary, and recreational materials from Germany, as well as providing specialized training to second teachers to ensure the inclusion of students with disabilities in this bilingual education context.
