Murbad and Kalyan are the Talukas located in Thane district of Maharashtra state of India. Since Rotary Year (RY) 2018-19, the Rotary Club of Dombivli East has been actively engaged in community development initiatives in the region, including the construction of toilet blocks, installation of scholastic infrastructure, and distribution of bicycles to school children. For RY 2025-26, the club aims to complete infrastructure improvements at the two schools: ZP School Khutal in rural area of Murbad Taluka and ZP School Apti Chonin Kalyan Taluka. This proposal outlines the plan for constructing toilet blocks at both locations.
Objective is to improve the sanitation facilities in school.
Smyrna Rotary Club Georgia, from RID6900 has pledged USD 170 . RID 5810 has pledged DDF of USD 5000 and RID 6840 has pledged USD 500.
Project budget is USD 31270. We need additional funds of USD 5400. We are looking for international Partner Club with funds to bridge the gap between budget and sources of funds identified through our contacts our District and our club contributions.
