Introduction

Ashraya Charitable Hospital is a well-recognized non-profit institution dedicated to delivering affordable and quality healthcare to the needy and underprivileged sections of society. For several years, the hospital has been serving the community with compassion and commitment, treating over 110 patients daily.

The hospital currently operates with 22 beds, 14 dialysis machines, operation theatres, and has a proposal to expand with 10 ICU beds. With its range of facilities, Ashraya plays a vital role in bridging the healthcare access gap for economically weaker families.

The hospital carries out about 20-30 operations every month & about 100 OPD visits the hospital

Beneficiaries

The primary beneficiaries are individuals from the economically weaker sections, including laborers and industrial workers who face financial barriers to medical treatment. By offering essential healthcare services at low or no cost, the hospital provides life-saving support to those who would otherwise remain untreated.

Their charges are much lower than any other hospital. Foe example:

• Consulatancy ₹ 150 first time then ₹ 75/- there after where as outside it ₹ 800 to ₹1000/-

• Bed charges are ₹625/- where as outside it is ₹2000/-

• Xray charges are ₹200/- where as outside charges are ₹ minimum ₹400/-

• Cataract surgery charges ranging from ₹5000/- to maximum ₹ 40,000/- where as outside charges are out side charges are ranging from ₹ ₹40,000/- to ₹100,000/-

1. Operation Theatre Modernization

• Equipment Proposed: Draeger Fabius Plus with Sevo & Iso Vaporizer and OT Monitor

• Estimated Cost: ₹25,00,000

• Impact: Enhances surgical safety, efficiency, and precision, benefiting a wide range of critical and routine procedures.

2. Ophthalmology Department Enhancement

To strengthen eye care services, procurement of the following equipment is proposed:

• NCT (Non-Contact Tonometer): ₹5,25,000

• Slit Lamp: ₹1,20,000

• Vision Drum: ₹50,000

• Chair Unit: ₹1,10,000

• Total Estimated Cost: ₹8,05,000
