The project will provide lifesaving cardiac interventionist 43 Egyptian children in need.The timeline will be from 5/26/2025 to 3/31/2026. All interventions will take place at Cairo University Hospitals . All children will be screened and selected for treatment from the most impoverished areas of Egypt. All surgeries will be performed by Rotarian abdominal Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgeon- Dr, Hesham Shawky abandon Rotarian Cardiac Surgeons Dr. Tarek Saleh, Dr. Hussam Hassanien , Dr. Hesham El Kadi and Dr. Ehab El Sharkawi. Host Rotarians will oversee the project from implementation to completion. They will raise funds to support the project budget. They will work with healthcare professionals to collect data for monitoring and evaluation of the project. They will work closely with the University Hospitals to ensure all patients are receiving optimal care during diagnosis and selection, treatment, post op care and follow up care.

International Rotarians will will help raise funds to complete the grant. They will raise awareness of the project, the need that exists in Egypt for children with heart disease and of Rotary's impact in treating children who would otherwise perish from a treatable disease. They will communicate with their host partners to obtain updates on the project and report progress to grant partners and contributors. They will manage grant funding and also report to TRF.
