Through this approach, these older adults will go from being perceived as a burden to becoming agents of change and economic development in their communities. The elderly population of Yumbo faces multiple economic, social and technological challenges. Through a survey and diagnosis, the following needs were identified: • Financial and accounting knowledge: Training in basic financial management for micro- enterprises will be offered. • Deficit in customer service and marketing: Workshops will be given on customer service, sales techniques and digital marketing strategies. • Technological gap: Training in digital literacy and the use of social networks for the promotion of products and services will be provided. • Solidarity economy: Knowledge in social and solidarity economy will be offered to older adults with the aim of strengthening their productive units through associativity. • Self-care skills: Physical and mental well-being practices will be integrated, such as mindfulness and bodyfulness, that promote healthy and active aging. The project will directly benefit 40 older adults and, indirectly, about 200 additional people from their families and the community. 1. Community revolving fund: A microcredit fund will be created for entrepreneurial seniors, which will be fed with the income generated by the new microenterprises and additional donations. 3. Product monetization: A local brand will be launched that groups the products and services of seniors, promoting their commercialization both in the local market and through digital platforms, which will allow a continuous source of income. The community plays a crucial role in the implementation and sustainability of the project. A committee of older adults will be formed to participate in the planning and monitoring of the project, which will encourage local ownership of the initiative. In addition, a group of young people from the community will participate in intergenerational activities, creating technological mentoring spaces where older adults learn from their children and grandchildren.
