The project is aimed at the adaptation and improvement of the infrastructure of the sanitary batteries of the Luis Carlos Galán school in the La Chaparrera district and Divino Salvador in the La Niata district, located in the rural area of the municipality of Yopal, in order to put them into optimal operation, in such a way that it facilitates the access of students to a decent sanitary service that prevents the spread of diseases of origin gastrointestinal. In addition, the intervention of the hydraulic networks, the septic tank and the elevated tanks is required, as well as the improvement of the access platforms to the batteries since at the moment they are highly deteriorated, which has caused falls of students and in winter they are impassable. Likewise, education in hygiene habits and practices, management of sanitary waste, and proper water management will be provided to the educational community.

This project needs to receive some pledges to go to the next level. Please check the "Financing" tab to see the list of current pledges. Once the amount pledged is equal to the project budget, the status of the project will be automatically changed to "Fully Pledged". Click here to pledge support for this project.
Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. This fee does not appear in the financials above because it does not apply if the funds are sent directly to the project account (without going through TRF, and therefore without Paul Harris credit). Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
