The objectives of the Safe Drinking Water Circuit Rider Program are to improve the
health and livelihoods of 25 rural communities in Cuscatlán Norte district and San
Vicente Sur Region of El Salvador by eliminating waterborne disease and providing
sustainable access to safe drinking water, focusing our work on a local and national
level to align with SDG 6: This project will span three years to approximately 25,000
individuals throughout out 25 rural communities in El Salvador ensuring safe, available
locally operated, and sustainable management of water for all. Through the innovative market-based Circuit Rider Model, rural communities have access to safe
drinking water, creating economic opportunities for individuals and improving health,
allowing children to attend school, parents to be present for work, and communities to
