WHAT IS THE NEED OF THE COMMUNITY:

1. Strengthen the programs implemented at the Oasis of Peace Community Center (community weaving, food security, systems classes, dressmaking workshops, peace workshops, social work, sowing environmental awareness, soccer schools, school reinforcement).

2. Rescue children and adolescents from violent environments through community peace processes.

3. Academic training and accompaniment to individuals.

The project will address the needs of the community by implementing academic training in reconciliation and peace processes, as well as providing support to children, adolescents, families, and the community that are part of the Oasis of Peace Community Center. It will also continue the programs that are currently being executed in food security, community weaving, music, sports, educational reinforcement, systems classes, and ecological school.

The activity timeline will be developed over three years.

The project funds will be used for:

-academic training for the prevention and reconstruction of peace, and processes of accompaniment and listening to people, families, and communities affected by violence, carried out by the Emaús Foundation.

-Two professionals in social work, a food handler, a systems teacher, a music teacher, educational materials and aids, sports equipment, bakery supplies, musical instruments.

The club members will form a committee that will periodically monitor the execution of the project.

It will also evaluate and produce reports on the progress of the project, with evidence recorded.

OBJETIVES:

1-Unite people in search of social equity and peacebuilding.

2-Develop food security, training, support, environment and peace programs that transform the reality of people and their living conditions.

3-Generate self-sustainability and job opportunities.
