The project is a comprehensive initiative aimed at delivering Early Intervention Services to the most vulnerable families raising children aged 0-6 years in the Zaporizhzhia region, which has been severely affected by the ongoing war.
The project seeks to improve access to diagnostic, consulting, and supervisory services for families, particularly those affected by displacement and conflict. Individualized programs will be developed for each family based on in-depth interviews and research into their specific needs and challenges. These programs will focus on restoring the mental and physical health, as well as the social adaptation, of both children and adult family members. The
project will engage specialists from various fields with expertise in early intervention to create a flexible and adaptive support network for families. Over six months, the project plans to provide approximately 2100 consultations to 40 families. Monthly reviews by specialists will adjust individual family consulting plans as needed, ensuring progress towards set goals. Weekly support groups for adult family members will be conducted in a hybrid format-online and offline. Additionally, educational and informational events will enhance family competencies in various areas, such as legal rights, mental health, and child development. Some families will receive tablets, power banks, headphones, and prepaid mobile internet to facilitate mobile consulting, thus ensuring access to services despite the challenging circumstances.
The project aims to restore quality of life and contribute to the well-being and development of both children and adults in these families.
