The project to be developed will take place at the Lusavi Children's House. The adolescents are facing extreme poverty and urgently require vocational training to enhance their financial prospects and personal development.
In addition to receiving technical skills in carpentry through the establishment of a workshop, they will undergo comprehensive training aimed at fostering personal growth.
This includes sessions on industrial safety to ensure their well-being in the workplace, guidance on maintaining good health for both academic and professional success, and hands-on instruction from a qualified mechanical engineer regarding the installation, operation, and maintenance of workshop machinery.
By equipping these youths with the necessary skills and knowledge, they will be empowered to produce doors, windows, and various wooden furniture items. This not only ensures the sustainability of the carpentry venture but also provides them with a means to earn a living.
The proceeds generated from their work will be reinvested into materials and labor, thereby perpetuating the project's economic viability and improving their living standards. Given the dire circumstances of extreme poverty, this initiative represents a crucial step towards establishing a sustainable solution.
