Project Description Region: South-East Asia Country: Philippines Location: San Ildefonso, Bulacan Total Budget: $43,000 Area of Focus: Community economic development A long term Sustainable and Precision Double-Yield Farming Project, aimed at doubling the crop yield of Filipino farmers through scientific and precision farming methods. Project funds will pay for 1. Soil Analysis; 2. Crop Management recommendations; 3. Farmers' Training on Crop Management; 4. Provisions of Soil Nutrient Inputs and Plant Bio-Stimulants; and 5. Progress Monitoring. Part of the produce will be sold at cost-friendly prices to community members through a Rotary Community Corps group, while the rest would be sold outside the community to generate income.
