Project Description Region: Asia Country: India Location: Mathura Total Budget: $300,000 Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment Cardiac arrest and heart attacks are on the rise.The access to live saving cath lab(angiography and angioplasty) will ensure lower mortality rates in the local population and bring about goodwill.Access to the cath lab is vital within 1 hour of a heart attack.There is no such unit in the area. The project will ensure universal access at affordable rates in the region. Maa Saraswati Hospital is a renowed Charitable Hospital(since 1950) already running Rotary Dialysis Centre since 2018. The area is already demarcated within the hospital premises and the hospital is looking for a donor.The project will start running within 6 months of Rotary grant approval. The funds requirement is of $300000.Local Donors and friends of Rotary have pledged $100000. Looking for Rotary Foundation and District grants of $200000. Club members will promote Healthy Heart awareness Campaigns and link the project with the Rotary 'Gift of Life' programme.
