To,

Dear Rotary Leaders

Sub: HEAL OF LIFE, Global Grant Project GG2341176

Rotary Greetings.

Rotary Club of Jagdalpur is a vibrant club in RID 3261. You will be happy to know that this year Rotary Club of Jagdalpur is celebrating the 50th year of its foundation. In the past the club has taken up various initiatives enhancing the presence and the public imagery of Rotary by building Rotary Hall and Rotary Square. Jagdalpur comes under RID 3261, which is a tribal belt in the state of Chhattisgarh, India and has a rough and violent history of civil insurgency. It has a population of around 300000 and lacks adequate quality medical facilities.

The club has also undertaken various projects for the service of TRIBAL people around the area.

The RAHAT Medical Mission, Project Muskan, Project Sparsh are some of the notable projects of significant scale executed by the club in the past.

As mentioned above, through Rotary the area has witnessed the following;

Rahat Medical Mission conducted April 2015 wherein 25000 OPD cases and around 1472 surgeries took place, under the able guidance and personal presence of PRID Raja Saboo.

Projects like Rotary Rasoi undertaken during COVID lockdown 2021 under which 21,000 meals were delivered at the door steps of the Covid patients & Frontline workers.

Project Muskan - The Mobile Eye and Dental clinic was set up in a Minibus to give free service to the tribal people at different and remote locations.

The Project Sparsh - In this project, a team of nurses in a van reached & gave prescribed treatment to bed ridden patients at their residence via pre booking their issues on the helpline number provided by Rotary.

To add to this list of illustrious service, we now wish to start a Rotary Kidney Dialysis Centre at Jagdalpur. The Centre will have Four Dialysis machines with all necessary equipment at a multi speciality hospital of the Town. The target beneficiaries will be poor and tribal patients who will be given the service Free of Cost or at a minimal price so as to run the centre on a self-sustainable mode.

The estimated budget of the project is 51000 $ (INR 40,29,000)

We are looking for International Global Partners with DDF from your district for almost 7500 UDS DDF. Our district in the last 3 years has successfully done Global Grant projects worth 700000$., but has majorly achieved it through Cash contributions fund. The district supports projects, but DDF is still lacking.

Hence we seek your support for a project to serve the needy and poor People through DDF or Cash Contribution.

Note : Dummy International Partner RID 3292 is written only for Draft mode of GG. A PDF file of GG has been attached with this email.

Looking forward to a positive and generous response from your end.
