Project Description Region: Asia Country: India Location: kERALA STATE Total Budget: $34,000 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Cycling to success ; bicycle for girl students This project is supporting a bicycle to girl students in kerala state, india who are forced to walk at least 4-12 KM for the nearest high school. With a bicycle in hand, a girl is more secure on the way, regular in school saves time & energy for better performance that helps fill the gap/pass out between boys and girls. We wish to provide cycles to girl students from the economically backward sector. The project will be an opportunity for growth, empowerment, and leadership for these children. Many children walk kilometers to reach school and cycle will help them to get education. These children will get more opportunities in getting involved with family matters too .
