Project Description Region: Africa Country: South Africa Location: Kwaphahla Total Budget: $41,800 Area of Focus: Water, sanitation and hygiene KwaPhahla village is located in a remote area in the Eastern Cape. The villagers have to share a small spring with animals which urinate and defecate in the water the village has to scoop to drink. A borehole will provide a sustainable water source which the villagers can obtain safe drinking water from. The intention is also to provide each household with a hippo roller to convey water to their homes.
