The project is to help provide 3 Hemodialysis Machines, Safe water supply system, Ward furniture, &Air conditioning facility for a Hemodialysis center to be established at Baliga Hospital, Harady Brahmavara Udupi Dist. s. Most of these waitlist patients are from the economically weaker sections of the society> District Udipi has a dialysis center that serves around 250 patients and leaves another 100 patients in the district on a waiting list or without services. This project is to address this shortfall and for some patients longer distance to district hospital is a burden and the cost. Dialysis patients require treatment about 2-3 times /week to keep them healthy. Patients of low socioeconomic background are most benefitted from this project. Baliga Hospital is a charitable institution established to serve these most deserving patients. Under this project efforts are made to make available Dialysis treatment at affordable cost to poor patients near their place of living
