Project Description Region: Asia Country: Nepal Location: Dhanusa Total Budget: $35,000 Areas of Focus: Water, sanitation and hygiene, Basic education and literacy Shree Rashtriya Basic School is located Hasspur-4, Dhanusa , Nepal .It is located 215 Km south-east of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. There are K-5 classes in which around 309 students are studying out of which, 159 are male and 150 are female. Even though this school has lot of students there is poor infrastructure and even no toilet for the student.Student are studying at classroom floor and doing toilet at bushes.There is no playing stuffs for the student as well. The student absenteeism is high in this school due to not having even basic stuff for the student.Most of the student studying in this school are from low income and marginalized community. This project will support 1.Construction of toilet both boys and girls 2.Support of Desks & Benches 3.Playing Materials Support 4.Water and sanitation Project 5.Teacher training All the funds will be used for above purposes . Host club and its member will be involved in project implementation , project monitoring and evaluation.
