Perambra is a rural town in Calicut district of Kerala, India.
Perambra Rotary chartered in the year 2000 , initiated a challenging project with the support of Grama panchayat and a vibrant teachers forum under the guidance of renowned NGO , NIRAVU, Calicut.
The objective is to collect all segregated waste from various houses and shops , store it temporarily in MCF (Material Collecting Facility).
We have offered the required space for MCF. The stored waste will be transferred to NIRAVU on a monthly basis.
Awareness classes will be conducted and storing cloth bags will be distributed to all houses.
Initially the project will be implemented in ward 14 and later extended to all wards.
