Purchase and Donation of a fully equipped Ambulance to Wuse District Hospital, Wuse Zone 3, FCT Abuja to ease movement of patients during emergencies to and from referral hospitals.

Due to the pandemic, the ambulance is urgently needed to evacuate Covid related cases as the present and dilapidated one is no longer serviceable nor can guarantee protective safety of the medical personnel. And the ambulance will also be kitted with PPE to aid evacuation of Covid-19 related cases.

Members of Rotary Club of Abuja Metro have carried out several advocacy projects on safe health and hygiene practices to this facility, and intends to commit volunteer hours to traimning the medics that will use the ambulance, and there is also an understanding between the hospital management and the RC that unscheduled inspections can be carried out at the convenience of our Club to ensure maintamnance and proper usage.

The project is scheduled to be donated in March 2022.
