- Desenvolvimento social, cultural e financeiro.

TRANSFORMING LIVES THROUGH ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

For years we have observed within the Vila Guarani community some needs that justify the need to carry out a project to economically develop its residents, with the objective of generating their own income and thus becoming self-sustainable and economically independent.

Vila Guarani is a place where the vast majority of residents are needy people. There is no trade that can generate jobs, let alone industries. The project aims to generate income for the community through training, offering courses and training, in addition to enabling families to develop activities with the equipment and training offered, selling what they produce.

- The equipment subsidized by this project, we can divide into three parts:

1) Acquisition of sound and image equipment, air conditioning equipment, tables and chairs to equip a hall with a capacity to serve around 130 people and training in various areas:

*Motivation and development training.

*Cost and sales price formation.

*Finance for women.

*Training and development for the association of women who make handicrafts with crochet.

*Training in the area of gastronomy and food handling intended for sale, with the necessary certifications.

*Educational lectures for the entire community.

2) Acquisition of equipment for a specific room for crocheters with sewing machines, tables, cabinets, tools and air conditioning, as well as training these entrepreneurs in the craft segment.

3) Acquisition of equipment to set up a kitchen-school (stove, refrigerator, freezer, food handling benches, oven, hood, scales, sealer, cylinder, mixer, blender and other utensils) for use in gastronomy training.

A schedule of courses and training to prepare the first groups, such as: sales, finance for women, health, personal and professional development of young people and adults, where handicraft and food products will be produced with due care for marketing in the locality and in the surroundings, thus generating income and jobs in the community.

For this project, the entity to be benefited was the Vila Guarani Community Development Association, which has operated in the community for over 33 years in defense of social rights, contributing to improving the quality of life and social inclusion of families living in this community.

This project will bring direct benefit to the Guarani community, Mamborê-Pr as:

- Social, cultural and financial development.

- Qualification of people in this community for various economic activities.

- Training for the Crochet Crochet Group already existing in the community and other interested people in order to develop their skills, practical and theoretical notions, stimulating financial and labor growth and active participation, thus contributing to change the reality of these people's lives.

The impact created by Rotary in our municipality, as a result of actions and projects carried out in previous years, made the community, represented here by the ADC- Vila Guarani Development Association, to seek us out in order to find together solutions that could help generate income, train people and, consequently, develop for the community.

We held several meetings in the community, investigating the needs and looking for plausible solutions to the situation of need we found there.

We visited schools and talked to principals and teachers, we researched groups that were precariously meeting and were looking for some way to generate income for the families, due to the lack of jobs in the area.

Among the alternatives presented, we filtered together with the community and, together, we understood that the best path would be the training and professional training of community members.

People from Vila Guarani chose the functions that have the best conditions for generating income, and we arrived at the equipment, courses and training that are the objects of this project.

We emphasize that those trained will be able to generate income for their subsistence, and help train new groups, valuing our project even more, creating income and sustainability in the short, medium and long term.

Therefore, the project aims to subsidize equipment that will be essential for the execution of courses and training, as well as initial training for the community.
