Project Description Region: Asia Country: India Location: Raipur Total Budget: $266,500 Area of Focus: Maternal and child health Over the last 9 years, Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Centres for Child Heart Care have performed over 15,000 Child Heart Surgeries and managed over 1,30,000 children in OPD. In addition, ~ 1 Lakh Women and children have been served via outreach camps. All services rendered Totally Free of Cost. Responding to the pertinent and immediate need to provide Tertiary healthcare services to the Women and Children coming from rural and tribal areas of Chhattisgarh, Sri Sathya Sai Health & Education Trust has taken upon itself to construct Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Mother & Child Care Centre in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. It will be a 40 bedded hospital with two Operating Rooms, Neonatal ICU, Antenatal Ward, Labour Room, Postnatal Wards and also Out-Patient facilities, where hundreds of pregnant women and children will be served daily. The hospital is fast taking shape with commencement of Totally Free of Cost Services expected in Oct 2021.
