Areas of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment, Maternal and child health
During the Covid 19, it became difficult to shift patients requiring L2 and L3 beds to various hospitals especially the poor ones. There are many private ambulances which used charged heavily from the patients and some of them belonging to the lowest strate could not afford to get the same and as a result the casualties occured..With this mobile ambulance we propose to help such community with the minimum charges( enough to pay for the fuel and driver charges only) and in some cases it will be free for those who cannot afford and such charges will be paid by our Club. The project funds will be used to buy the Ambulance which will be fully equipped with oxygen cylinders and other necessary equipment. The members of Rotary Club Ludhiana Central will oversee the project in all the possible ways. The ambulance will be purchased as soon as the grant funds will be received.

Dropped
This project has been "Dropped". Check the history log entries to see why it was dropped.
Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. This fee does not appear in the financials above because it does not apply if the funds are sent directly to the project account (without going through TRF, and therefore without Paul Harris credit). Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
