The situation is very critical due to COVID. The hospitals are finding it difficult to provide adequate health care to COVID patients. The project has been envisaged to provide ICU beds, oxygen cylinders, multi parameter monitors and other health care equipment to the the Lok Nayak Jai Parkash Narain Government Civil hospital at Kurukshetra. This is a 100 bed hospital of the state government set up at District Headquarters and it caters to the population of 10 lac. The hospital needs to strengthen its facilities because of covid pandemic. The project will provide 15 ICU beds, 30 oxygen cylinders, 5 multi parameters monitors and 5 syringe pumps to the hospital.
