EARLY EDUCATION CENTERS in 25 GOVT. SCHOOLS around Bangalore, India

Background: India is a home for 139 million children under the age of 5 and early education is very sparse and not available in rural areas. Early education has shown to improve Learning Outcomes, Better Retention and Lower Drop out, Strong foundation and Better life outcomes. RC of Bangalore SW partnering with educational foundations have come with a plan to develop and deliver age-appropriate activity based curriculum to schools, Empower Parents to make informed choices for their children and Build capacity of teachers to deliver

Effectively.

Project Description: The GG will provide teachers training, monitoring and technology use in early educational methods. Also materials needed for children to learn some classroom modifications to accommodate the new learning environment.

Beneficiaries: 25 Govt. rural schools around Bangalore and benefit 1500 young students

Budget:

- Teacher / Student Learning Material - Rs. 25,00,000/-

- Infra structure upgradation cost - Rs. 18,75,000/-

- Parent Workshop - Rs. 2,25,000/-

- Teacher Training - Rs. 4,00,000/-

- Monitoring and Evaluation - Rs. 2,60,000/-

TOTAL PROJECT COST - Rs. 52,85,000/-
