Project Description Region: South-East Asia Country: India Location: Bhilai Total Budget: $34,000 Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment Covid-19 Pandemic has unfortunately evolved as critical and deadly menace all over the world. The spread is rapid, and unfortunately is has reached and growing rapidly in almost all over the world. In view of this it is still seen that there is shortage of basic medical equipment's PPE and safety equipment's like face mask. Main reason being the shortage or unavailability of these items. Following are the objective to apply for the Global Grant. 1) To make the people aware of health and safety precautions. 2) To provide safety for healthcare professionals. 3) To create awareness in suburbs and slums about social distancing, sanitation/hygiene (frequent hand wash, using protective mask etc) and staying indoors. 4) To provide PPE kits to Dist Hospital, Durg & Homemade washable Face Masks (cloth type). GOAL Distribution of PPE kit at Dist Hospital, Durg & Homemade washable Face Masks (cloth type) to cover the remote and needy area.
