The project will be carried out at the Intensive Care Unit - ICU of the São José Hospital(non-profit hospital), in the city of Jaraguá do Sul , Santa Catarina, Brazil. The target population is 600,000. The problem is that the Hospital needs urgently increase the number of ICU beds to attend the high demand. And the solution will be to equip with mechanical ventilators four new intensive therapy units that have already been built. The Hospital will be responsible for use and maintenances. This hospital serves in specialties such as neurology, oncology, orthopedics, traumatology to all neighboring municipalities and provides assistance to approximately 600,000 inhabitants. The training of 25 people, expenses for preventive and corrective maintenance will be taken over by the Hospital, what makes this project sustainable. The construction of the ICU rooms was concluded and they need these equipments to have these four rooms running. The Host Club members are involved attending the Hospital specialists to collect data of number of people and cities which will be attend and quotation of prices. After the implementation of this project, club members will periodically monitor the number of patients served,check the training professionals and preventive and corrective maintenance of ventilators. In the same way, the members of the Partner Club will be able to check the evolution of the implementation through photos and reports that will be sent by the host club.

The official delivery of ventilators was carried out with the presence of the assistant governor of the area, director, manager and health professionals of Hospital São José, representative of the city's mayor, all Rotarians involved and local radio and journalists. It was held in person and virtually for the participation of partner Clubs and Districts from abroad and other clubs in District 4652.
