Development of Communication and Recreational Skills in children with different abilities
• Community Needs:
The CEBE students, due to their communicative difficulties, require resources of greater stimuli (visual, auditive), to respond to the different pedagogical areas. Having interactive projectors will permit them to enhance their expressive and comprehensive language, as well as in other curricular areas.
Our students need to develop their proprioceptive (knowledge of their body) and vestibular (body movement, balance and relationship to their space) senses. The implementation of recreational games will favour corporal activities in their different expressions and contribute to a better quality of life for them.
Rotary Club La Molina has a very ample experience in educational projects. https://www.flipsnack.com/aurorarotary/rotary-club-la-molina-2019-english.html
• How was the need assessed? Refer to Community involvement to assess the need, surveys, publications etc.)
The needs of the project were obtained through the diagnostic evaluation carried out by a SWOT analysis (Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats), the diagnostic evaluation of the classrooms (Psycho-pedagogical Report) where it is evidenced that the majority of the students live in human settlements of scarce economic resources, therefore they have no recreational games. The CEBE has a swing and a slide that are insufficient for the school population. The student's individual planning is also considered, as well as the evaluation of the planned activities by the UGEL during the school year.
• Planned Activities to address the need and how the will be sustained long term?
Planning, execution and evaluation is carried out through learning sessions in the classrooms as well as through the planning and participation of program activities by the Ministry of Education (I learn and play with the use of technologies).
The project will be sustained through the response and institutional vision of the mission in accordance with the student's profile and with the support of parental involvement.
• Which area of focus do you see the fits clearly?
