The objetive of this project is to preform theater groups in the rural communities of Navojoa, as a tool for social transformation, to create a proposal that runs through more than 100 communities that the municipality has. All of this will be done in a traveling stage. Through this stage, a message of peace and union can be delivered among the communities of Navojoa, inspiring children and young people (especially those in disadvantaged circumstances) to develop their maximum potential as productive, responsible, creative and committed citizens with social work.
Work groups will be formed in the communities of El Siviral, Comissaria Rosales, and Buyacusi, with children between 6 and 12 years old to learn about theater in weekends, and to have a theater project within 5 months related to the script "Tales Indigenous" (collection of stories from the Mayo community).
This project will be presented in the 108 communities of Navojoa, where the participating children will learn about the experience of being artist and sharing their talent in the other communities.
The groups will be composed of children from the communities, actors, illuminates, set designers and costumes; and this will be coordinated by Buyyawi Productions Theater Group and Rotary Kids Program
