This project has as goal to promote educative and preventive measures aimed at children and teenagers, between ages 4 and 18. The reach of this campaign is towards private and public schools that are benefited by the National and International Rotary Club. The target group for this project, in its great majority, is faced with personal or social vulnerability.
The presented project was created considering that childhood is a period of great physical development and a crucial component in character formation. While teenage-hood is an important connecting phase from childhood towards adulthood, which also involves a great deal of physical, psychological and social transformations. In this sense, preventive measures are essential to transform this group in multiplier agents who will spread the information about disability prevention.
This project proves to be essential since 45 million people are affected by some kind of disability in Brazil. According to the National Coordination for Integration of People with Disabilities, 70% of the disabilities can be avoided if preventions measures are taken.

Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions.
