The Rotary Club of Amreli Gir is located in the southern part of Gujarat, India. Our Amreli district is having more than 1200 villages in this territory having a population of more than 1.6 million.
The medical awareness is very low in our district area particularly in villages is very low. Also the medical facilities such as multi specialty hospital and other emergency medical requirements are vary rare to be found. In case of any emergency requirement the peoples have to reach such hospital which are mostly located in to other cities by traveling approx. 100 miles form their area.
This distance is in some emergency case may come to an end of life for the survivor as the traveling time consumption.
Through a survey, our club identified a medical equipment requirements such as C.T.scan OR MRI Scan machines in our area.
Our club wishes to provide the following machines:-
1) MRI Scan Machine - costing around USD 360,000/- Aprrox.
Through this machines many lives can be saved, which are losing only for the distance matter.
Through this Rotary Idea, if our club gets partners and donatations, we can be big help to the society. Our club also plans to get this treatment done at a very low cost on no profit no loss basis, charging only for the maintanance purpose, wchich again helps the society by a heavy rate charges of such treatments.
Our club has supported the community for many years, providing vocational education and medical missions. We would like to give you the opportunity to help by donating in such a life saver cause.
Our club RC Amreli Gir will bare all the responsibilities for this cause and also ensure regular maintenance and visits for the project.
