Areas of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment, Maternal and child health
The Holy House of Mercy and Maternity Sant'Ana de Itapecerica, philanthropic institution of private law in full operation and providing relevant services to the Itapecerica population and region since 1899. There is currently a monthly average of 20,000 (twenty thousand) outpatient care and 180 (one hundred and eighty) hospitalizations, with 80%(Eighty percent) of these visits are aimed at SUS patients, which means that generates a financial deficit as a result of the low remuneration offered for such calls. Santa Casa currently operates with an installed capacity of 50 (fifty)beds. It maintains a 24-hour Emergency Service and also maintains an "Intermediate Care Unit" with 02 beds, equivalent to a semi-intensive unit and a specialized Maternity containing 6 (six) beds, attending on average 20 deliveries per month. We live a financial situation no different from other Hospitals philanthropic organizations in Brazil, where the funds received are not sufficient to against expenses. We are always aware of the need for improvement and expansion of the services provided, a fact that requires the search of financial resources to continue to offer quality humanized care to patients. We have outdated equipment that needs a update so that we can better assist our patients, so it is extremely important that we have a UCI (Intermediate Care Unit), well equipped because we always have common examples of diseases such as heart problems such as heart attacks, strokes, breathing, problems getting around, and more serious accidents that need continuous monitoring. We have an obstetric team on a 24 hour warning system and seven days a week, and we need some equipment to performing cardiotocography, which consists in monitoring pregnancy during the phases before childbirth, through noninvasive auscultation and visualization fetal heart rate, monitoring of uterine contraction and fetal movements and warm crib that will help establish a state minimum metabolic rate and maintain the newborn's temperature within the normal range.Given the above, this project aims to equip the institution's intermediate care unit.

This project has been "Dropped". Check the history log entries to see why it was dropped.
Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. This fee does not appear in the financials above because it does not apply if the funds are sent directly to the project account (without going through TRF, and therefore without Paul Harris credit). Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
