The Children's Hospital Dr Jeser Amarante de Faria - HJAF, is part of the network of hospitals of the State Department of Health of Santa Catarina. It is located in the city Joinville-SC. The hospital serves children and teenagers aged from 0 to 18 years old(17years, 11 months and 29 days). They offer support in several areas of specialities for 25 municipalities in the North and Northeast regions; It is a reference for 25 municipalities in Santa Catarina state. It is the only hospital in the state of Santa Catarina that performs highly complex Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery. All procedures are free of charge to the population, funded by the Unified Health System - SUS.
Objective: Replacement of equipment in the Hospitalization and Surgical Center areas that are currently obsolete to provide an agile service. With the updated equipment, there will be a more effective diagnostic capacity, better working conditions for professionals, as well as a perspective of faster recovery for the patient.
. 02(two) surgical tables has the purpose of making longitudinal, transversal and diagonal movements through control, which facilitates necessary movements during the surgical procedure. Currently, surgical tables are more than 11 years old and require replacement, as well as some commands required for surgeries that no longer meet the demand and surgical complexity.
. 03 (three)) Vital Signs Monitors aims to raise the level of confidence and record vital signs measured in hospitalized patients; the monitor facilitates and speeds up the verification process, with greater sensitivity in the measurement.
