Project Description Country: USA Location: Holdrege, NE Total Budget: $200 Area of Focus: The environment Activity Type: Community Development: General Summary: Enhance and maintain Community Pollinator Garden that our club revamped in April of 2026 A park in our community has a pollinator garden that needs enhanced and maintained. The project was originally completed in 2017 by the daughter of a current Rotarian. Our club took on the task of providing a fresh update in April of 2026 so that the pollinator garden can continue to attract, feed, and shelter vital wildlife in our community. The enhancement is an improvement on the overall attractiveness of the park, as well. Rotary members are responsible for the natural resources and labor to complete and maintain the project. We are seeking funds to add another row of plants, add mulch, and for additional seed purchases within the next year. Additional funds from the second grant request would allow for our club to contribute less.
