Our club will Donate the funds to Tijuana Rotary Club to purchase hearing Aids for low income Kids in Tijuana. The Gift of Hearing: Changing a Child's Future
A donated hearing aid is far more than a piece of technology-it is the gift of sound, communication, learning, and hope.
For a child from a low-income family in Tijuana, receiving a hearing aid can transform every aspect of life. For the first time, they can hear their parents say "I love you," listen to their teacher's instructions, laugh with friends, and participate confidently in school. Hearing opens the door to language development, education, and the opportunity to reach their full potential. The impact extends beyond the child. The cost of each hearing aid varies from $1,200 to $1800 depending on the severity of the damage on the ear. The doctor donates their time spent setting the hearing aid to the child's ear. The donation will be part of a fund to be used for the testing, treatment and purchase of the hearing aids.
Hearing aids will be distributed on January 2027 at an event provided to special needs kids.
