Project Description Country: Afghanistan Location: Jalalabad Total Budget: $4,500 Area of Focus: Community economic development Activity Type: Education: General Summary: Computer Training and Digital Services Center - Led by two Afghan males who have been involved in Rotary's Program for many years. This center will include 15 computers and offer both training and paid digital services including website development, domain registration, video editing, photography, and CCTV solutions. Income will come from student fees and service charges. This project also has the potential to benefit many youth while supporting the trainers. This is a project of the San Diego Golden Triangle Rotary Club, and the total budget is 9,000, of which $4,500 has already been raised from the Del Mar Rotary Club and other sources. Of the remaining $4,500, $2,250 will come from San Diego Rotary Club 33, and $2,250 from this matching grant.
