Summary: Supply funds for Food Box's and work with Idaho Food Bank to Distribute to local families experiencing food insecurities
|
|
Grant funds will be used to purchase food through the Idaho Food Bank that will be distributed to Idaho families facing hunger. In addition to financial support, our club will provide hands-on volunteer assistance. Volunteers will help sort donated food items, repackage bulk donations into family-sized quantities, and prepare food boxes for distribution. Our club will also assist with the Idaho Food Bank's Mobile Pantry program by helping distribute food boxes to families during drive-through distribution events. This effort will ensure that food reaches those who need it most in an efficient, dignified, and timely manner. This will help increase access to nutritious food, support families facing financial hardship, and strengthen our community's response to hunger. Funding for this project will directly benefit Idaho residents by providing essential food assistance while engaging volunteers in meaningful community service.
