Project Description Country: USA Location: Buhl, Idaho Total Budget: $340 Area of Focus: Peacebuilding and conflict prevention Activity Type: Peace: General Summary: Peace pole purchased and installed at Rotary Park in Buhl, Idaho for community peace project. Money from grant will be used to purchase a Rotary Peace Pole. The languages represented in our community will be English and Spanish, with May Peace be in our Community and May Peace be in our Hearts printed on the other two sides. Rotary members will install the peace pole in the Rotary Park in Buhl. It will be placed beside our peace rose. A celebration of peace ceremony will be held in September in conjunction with International Day of Peace. This ceremony will be hosted by the Buhl Rotary Club. Rotary members weed park area as volunteer contribution.
