Summary: One week theatre experience for up to 60 children in Sedona, AZ
Rotary Club of Sedona Village has been the lead in bringing Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) to Sedona every summer for many years for up to 60 students. The 2 Missoula Children's Theatre directors bring sets, costumes, script and directorship. Auditions will be held on a Monday morning. Rehearsals commence that afternoon and culminate in 2 performances on the next Saturday. The fee for bringing the Missoula directors is $4450. Other expenses include, amongst other things, paying an accompanist. Rotarians provide promotions at schools and press releases; volunteers to gather program sponsors and prizes from local businesses for top student ticket sellers (helps bring an audience); volunteers at signup/audition day, all rehearsals, and at performances to setup, check students in and out, monitor and cleanup. The mission statement for MCT is "Empowering children and adults through theatre education and performance to develop lifelong skills while enriching communities worldwide through live productions."

This project is "Approved". This means that the district leadership has reviewed and approved the allocation of district funds for this project. Once the funds from the district have been issued, the status of the project will be changed to "Paid".
