Summary: Upgrade the education for 10 teachers per government requirements in a free school, Jinja, Masese, Uganda.
The teachers in the H.E.L.P. Primary School, (Masese, Uganda an under-resourced neighborhood) serving approximately 750 children, are being required to obtain accredited University degrees by 2030 in alignment with the Uganda National education standards. The teachers, who earn $100 a month, cannot afford the education and yet they have the desire to continue teaching.Providing the teachers with the required credentials will enhance the educational quality for underprivileged children who otherwise cannot attend school. It will also empower local educators and build future leaders for the country.
There are 18 teachers who need to upgrade their credentials. Over a period of two years, the Rotary Club of Windsor, hopes to raise the funds to provide the education for all 18. The teachers are required to stay on at the school for 3 years after they obtain credentials. They will need to apply for the educational funds. The Rotary Club of Jinja has pledged $1000. H.E.L.P has agreed to a $1000 donation. The remaining $5000 will be provided by the Rotary Club of Windsor and its members through fund-raising.
The Windsor Rotary Club members will volunteer quarterly sorting and packing donations which will be ship to the school and other organizations.

Ann,
Even though the project is in Uganda you still need to show Rotarian involvement. International projects do not require as much Rotarian involvement as local grants but please add that piece to the description.

Ann,
Everything looks good. Can you complete the signature process. The grant needs to be signed by yourself and the club President. If you want other club members to sign as well you can add them in but you only need the two of you.
