The 5th annual Fountain Hills Community Health Fair will take place on January 23, 2027 at the Fountain Hills Community Center. The community health fair brings together the Fountain Hills healthcare community and the residents of Fountain Hills to share information and best practices for health and longevity.
Guests attend information sessions, speak one-on-one with area healthcare professionals, and have the opportunity to schedule onsite screenings such as mammograms and magnetic body scans. They can also donate blood.
Healthcare sponsors pay a fee to participate. A portion of those proceeds are kept in the Four Peaks Rotary Foundation to fund emergency health and wellness needs in the community. Past expenditures include paying for eye exams and eyeglasses for underserved children and erasing medical debt for a family whose child collapsed at school and was later diagnosed with a heart condition.
Project funds will be used to pay Community Center facility fees and promotional expenses, including a 12-page health fair guide which is distributed in the local newspaper prior to the event.
Four Peaks Rotarians volunteer during the event. Last year, 22 club members volunteered for a 40% club participation rate.
Note: Member Debbie Clason coordinates this annual event and her business, Clason Communications, receives compensation.
